I have a new Sony Tv and have not been able to connect to Netflix - You Tube etc is all working fine. Software is up to date.
SOURCE: SNES video is jumpy on Sony LCD TV
It sounds like a scanning issue...Older TV's were setup to adjust the image to the screen. Since the new age is all digital, they kind of left out that feature because it only happened in very old analog systems.
Sorry but to my knowledge there are no converters or anything that I know of that will fix this issue. I haven't tried any of my old systems on newer lcd's so I haven't been in the market to look.
Sorry.
SOURCE: Can't not get our Nintendo 64 to work on our new Bravia TV
The N64 can be hooked up with either composite cables (RCA cables: red, white and yellow. These came with the N64) or the S-Video cables (purchased separately from system, s-video, white and red)
The N64 won't ruin the Bravia at all. It will just output in 480i, and the TV will have to upconvert it. No big deal.
As for which plug in to use, use the AV input that matches the composite setup (the input that has red, and white audio inputs, and a yellow video input). If you have an S-video cable for it, then match it to the s-video input on the tv. Most Bravias I've seen have 1 RCA (composite) inputs on the backside and 1 on the side input.
The color of the inputs on the TV should match the color of the cables that plug into them.
SOURCE: "No signal" on hdtv while trying to watch netflix via xbox
First you need to eliminate the possibility that
the box is loosing video feed from the G.P.U.
hook the unit up in with normal yellow
white and red a/v connection for standard TV
out . if it happens shut the unit off and on again
and if you have sound and no video it's the G.P.U
becoming disconnect , the fix for this is to have
the chip re-flowed back to the P.C.board .the other
cause is a failing HDMI cable but im guessing you
already replaced that.
If you have any questions feel free to ask

SOURCE: Tying to watch instant tv and movies with WII and netflix
That service isn't available quite yet. When it is, you will require a wii that's connected to the internet, some sort of netflix account, and a "Netflix Instant Streaming disc."
