Several months ago i installed sevice pack 3 on my computer running Windows XP. Ever since then my computer will not recognise my handycam. Before service pack 3 i used to plug my handy cam into my computer and it would start my Ulead program and i could transfer my movies onto the computer without any problems. Now when i plug my Handycam into the computer it still has the sound that it makes when you plug something into it but thats as far as it goes. I manually open up my Ulead program but it tells me that there is nothing plugged in or that handycam is not turned on. I have changed the firewire lead and card and it still does not work. Sony only has USB Software updates for the memory stick.Has anyone else had this problem before and how can i fix it. Any help would be much appreciated.

Do one of the following:
If you downloaded SP3 from the website, to install it immediately, click Open or Run and follow the instructions on your screen. To install the program later, click Save and download the installation file to your computer. When you're ready to install the service pack, double-click the file.
If you're installing SP3 from the Service Pack 3 CD, insert the disc into your computer with your current version of Windows XP running, and the Software Update Installation Wizard should automatically appear. If this wizard doesn't appear, click Start, double-click My Computer, right-click your CD or DVD drive, and then click AutoPlay.
On the Windows XP Service Pack 3 page, click Next.
Follow the instructions that appear on your screen.
After the installation is complete, click Finish to restart your computer.
If you disabled your antivirus software, enable it again.
