Question about KitchenAid Microwave Ovens
My oven is a little over two years old. After I self cleaned the racks no longer fit...they balance and then fall if you try to pull them out. I have an extended warranty but they will not help saying its a consummable product. Kitchenaid won't help because its out of the manufacturers warrany. I've ordered two new racks, but it is the same.

ovens are self cleaning During the cleaning process, the oven heats up
to a temperature of 900 degrees Fahrenheit. The extreme heat cooks off
food and spills inside the oven, leaving ash that can easily be wiped
out. The oven door locks while it is cleaning to prevent the door from
being opened. Self cleaning ovens are better insulated than regular
ovens to keep the extreme heat inside.
