Make sure google is up to date. They have not too long ago updated the good chrome software.

Do a virus/malware scan to see if that causing it to crash. I generally use malwarebytes, its free to use to scan and remove. You can pay for 1 year for it, up to you to decide.

Make sure you have adequate ram to run chrome, its not a good idea to keep too many tabs, if your system cannot handle the load. Google chrome loves to eat chunky memory.

SOURCE: Internet Connectivity Problem

Try This,

Go to the command line and while connected to your modem type the following:

(Wait for each command to finish)

c:> ipconfig /release
c:> ipconfig /renew
c:> ipconfig /flushdns
c:> ipconfig /registerdns

Then attempt to browse one of the sites you were having trouble with.

If that does not fix the problem, then you will need to disable Norton Internet Security temporarily to see if that is causing your problems.

I'll check back to see how you made out.

Let me know how you made out.

SOURCE: My Touch pad scrolling got shut off or something

Turn off your machine and check if the scrolling is ok. Whether it's okay or not, I advice that you update the BIOS and your mouse trackpoint driver. To download go the HP site (www.hp.com/support), look for the bios and mouse driver, download it then install to your machine. Before installing the mouse driver you must first uninstall the previous driver downloaded on the machine.

Why is google now yahoo?

Change your search defaults in Chrome's settings to whatever search engine you prefer. As far as accessing gmail, I would clear the old content (cache) and try again.

Want to uninstall google chrome and reinstall google ,google chrome just popped up unannounced on our screen, help..

I am sorry but I don't understand your problem fully. If you want to have Google.com opened every time when you open chrome, you can do so as instructed below:
click the button at the extreme right below the close(x) button on chrome. GO to settings. Under start-up select option "Open a specific page or set of pages" then click set pages, then enter wwww.google.com and press OK. Now, you will have google.com opened every time you open chrome browser.
If the above is not your problem's solution, then please elaborate your problem so that I can post a better solution.

Why is Google page in tiny print through google chrome all of a sudden ?Also you tube is zoomed to the max.I can't view you tube.Everything else is ok on other sites. Please help

Conduit is malware. Get rid of it first, and reboot. Start by downloading the free version of Malwarebytes (Anti-Malware) from https://www.malwarebytes.com/ install it and run it - that takes an hour or more. It should locate and deal with malware like Conduit in your computer. Then reboot and try again.
There are more detailed methods if that did not remove it all.

You can't reverse to the last page with Google, I make a mistake and lost the thiem page that came with Chrome.

Chrome and every browser stores each and every page that you opens in it and it is called as "History". After opening chrome simply press CTRL + H (windows) & COMMAND + H (mac) to open the history and then simply navigate, find the page that you were on and click it. The page shall be opened again.

Secondly, if you only have one window open and no tabs, then you can simply go to forward and back button on the left side of address bar and can navigate back and forth.

Google seach page has changed. It says mystart powered by blekko

LOL, sounds like a virus or infection has changed your homepage. Open Google Chrome then click on the WRENCH in the upper right hand corner at the top of the screen and click on Settings. When the screen opens you want to be on the Basics tab so that you can scroll down in the middle where it says Home Page. Click on Select This Page so that the dot is in the circle and type in the web address of the page you want to come up when you open Google Chrome.

It sounds like you had the Google Search as your home page so simply type http://www.google.com

You might want to download and install MalwareBytes and run a Quick Scan for viruses and infections.

Go to www.google.com and in the search box type: "Download cnet Malwarebytes" (without the quotes). Download and install malwarebytes from the sites download.cnet/malwarebytes. When the site opens up click on the Green Download button on the left. Do not click the Red Download button, that's junk. When it finishes installing the Gui Interface will open up with an offer to Accept a Trial Version or Decline. CLICK DECLINE you want the totally free version. Run a QUICK SCAN. As it scans, if it finds infections the number will be in red. When it finishes scanning, click SHOW RESULTS. A notepad text document will open up showing you the results. You can close the text document and go back to the Gui Interface where you will click REMOVE SELECTED RESULTS. The objects will already be selected for you. When it finishes removing the objects click ok and it will sometimes reboot your machine.

I cant open google chrome , it says the pages are unresponsive kill the pages or wait , but nothing happens

Do any other browsers work?
If not, the problem is with your internet connection.
Try switching off the computer, unplugging the router from the power, wait 10 sec then plug the power back in.
Then boot up the computer again.
Hope this helps!
