My Frigidaire - cust. imp. side by side (165 FPCI-165VS-6M ) is having difficulty staying cold on the fridge side, the freezer works fine and there is no evidence of frost accumulation. The floor is getting wet from under the front but i cant see if there's a leak although there is a black tube with a white cap under the front left side that has moisture on it, its not a lot of water but it does seep into my tiling on the floor beneath it over night.
Any suggestions or is it time to throw in the towel? (sic)

take all the bottom shelves and baskets out of the freezer. look at the back wall of the freezer. youll see a block of ice in a metal pan looking part at the bottom of the rear panel. there is a hole in the bottom of that pan. thats the defrost drain. its clogged. use a hair dryer to get all the ice out then use hot water to flush out the drain hole.

You probably need a new door deal for the freezer. When you cet too much condensation in the freezer, it drains down the back of the refrigerator section during the defrost cycle. Check under the produce bins for a drain. If you don't have one, you're not alone. I used to have have to wipe mine out every other day until I finally replaced the seal.

Info relating specifically to the Frigidaire FRT18B5ABB:
1.Refrigerator unplugged remove the bottom back panel. (Access cover with label. The rectangular shaped panel on the back, at the bottom) Place the screws in a container.
Also remove the Kickplate Grille in the front, and the defrost pan.
2.Use the wand tip on your vacuum cleaner, and vacuum this area out. Pay special attention to the condenser coils, and the fan. Use care as you don't want to bend the fan blades. After you have vacuumed up as much as possible, see if your vacuum has where you can attach the hose to blow air through it. An air compressor, hose, and air nozzle would be REAL handy right now! Blow the condenser coils, and all areas clean of any gunk. (Hair, spider webs, etc.) If this is not feasible for you, you'll need some sort of long, thin, dust 'bunny', and have to dislodge this 'gunk' physically. Then vacuum.
3.BE SURE to replace the bottom back panel, (Access Cover)! It is a VERY necessary item! If your fridge doesn't have one at present, make a temporary one of cardboard, and tape it on. This access cover is needed.
If your refrigerator side is only cool, and your freezer is cold, you may have a problem with the Cold Control, (Temperature Control), or the Defrost Timer. (Timer-Defrost)

Your drain tube may be stopped up with ice at the upper end
because it drains too slow because it's stopped up at the lower end in the
evaporator pan under the unit at the floor. It can get dust and mold in it.
Once you get the ice out at the top a little pressure with a turkey baster will usually clear it out. Flushing it out
with hot water and clorox may help. Make sure it drains quick enough to prevent
refreezing. . The drain should be located below the evaporator coils on the lower
back of the freezer.
