I have the Frigidaire PLEB30S8CCA single wall oven. About 3 months ago the baking element appeared to have gone out. We replaced it, but still didn't work. We ended up sending our control board off to a company named Corecentric. They fixed the problem and returned it to us. The oven has worked perfectly ever since. I searched extensively for a new one, but no one sold them anymore. I found Corecentric on Ebay. They were able to confirm over the phone that it was more than likely a control board issue. It cost about $130. My husband was able to do it himself by taking a couple before px and using them when reassembling it.

I don't think it is the elements, both going out on the same day is a bit much..... Does anyone know if there are separate control boards for the upper and lower? a week without an oven will be tough in my life... sigh..... ( but thanks for that information)

Frigidaire PLEB30T8CCB Double wall oven - heating to temp, but not maintaining.

Your wiring diagram and parts schematics are here in the link below. Normally the bottom element does glow read hot after a couple of minutes. Broil elements last a lot longer because they aren't used as much. There is only one Control Board. If I was guessing, I would say the temperature sensor is at fault. Elements either work, or they don't, but you can easily test continuity with a meter. Many parts are discontinued.

Early 1960's Frigidaire 24" Double wall oven not heating

Hello Chris Hammond, thanks for your post!

Based off the information you have provided it sounds like a potential problem with your connector for your element within your Frigidaire wall oven. I would recommend reaching out to a professional technician for proper diagnosis repair to help avoid any unnecessary part purchases. Best of luck! -Matt

Frigidaire oven will not get all the way hot

Good Afternoon Tasha - There could be
a number of any one of several underlying causes in why the oven is
experiencing this particular issue:

·
Convection
heating element

·
Thermal cutout

·
Thermal oven
sensor

·
EOC
(electronic oven control)

·
Ignitor

·
Bake or broil
element

·
All wired
connections

The parts above will need to be assessed for further
evaluation. Lastly, the oven cavity and insulation should be checked to ensure
there are no gaps or damages that will leak out the heat. At t his time, I
would recommend contacting a professional to assist you further since it is always
a good idea to get the appropriate diagnosis prior to making any unnecessary
part replacements.

Dacro Wall oven (electric) does not heat past 345 degrees on bake or convection bake but broiler works and bottom oven works fine (for bake, convection bake and broil).

it could be the oven temp sensor rod located near the top of the inside of the oven,or possibly the bake element has a hot spot on the element and can no longer pass enough current thru this spot to correctly heat to your settings a hot spot on the element will look discolored in this area

Slow to heat on convection mode, bottom element not get as hot as

Check to see that the convection element is heating. If not, ohm it out, either the element is bad or it is not getting power from the control.
