You may have to reset it. let if charge for about 24hrs, 10hrs may work fine too and With the device turned off, press and hold the volume down button, and then briefly press the power button. - Wait for the screen with the three Android images to appear, and then release the volume down button. - Press volume down to select clear storage, and then press power. - Press volume up to start the factory reset.
Sindia, this sound me software problem, when your device has a software problem it wont charge or start at all normally, so try to hard reset but this will delete all data for hard reset follow the instruction : 1. Switch off device; 2. After 3 min, Press and hold volume down button and power on button once it shows 3 android images appear leave the buttons and press volume down to select a clear storage, and then press power and then press volume up to start the factory reset. after this process your device wil reboot and start normally. now your device is ready to use. To reset your TomTom device, do the following:
1. Check that the battery is charged properly. Charge your device for at least 2 hours before trying to turn it on again. Make sure the charging light on your device is on.
2. Remove the SD card If your device uses an SD card, remove it.
3. Reset your device. Use a straightened paper clip, or something similar, to push the reset button for 15 seconds. See the pictures below for where to find the reset button.
4. Turn your device on. Press the On/off button for at least 5 seconds.
5. Insert the SD card If your device uses an SD card, insert the SD card.
This issue may be resolved by resetting it, try this. Resetting the device: 1. Press and hold the Power/Menu button for approximately 20 seconds. 2. Release the Power/Menu button. 3. Press the Power/Menu button again to turn on the player.

turn device over and look for tiny reset button near to power connect strip. then use a blunt safety pin to reset,this should allow you to then turn it on,this works on 500 ,700 ,900 , 510 , 710 , 910 , hope this helps .

check and see if the hold button is down, if so slide it to the off position. Reset the device by holding in the power button and the volume + button down for three 3 seconds. This will reset the device. also make sure that it is charged. If these do not work than you can contact philips on there website
I had the same problem. Reset the device, by pushing the reset button down (a small hole next to the usb connector). Then hold down the play button for a few seconds. That should work. If that doesn't work, after reseting, hold down the play button and A-B Button for a few seconds.
