Pc always hang, automaticly restart

I have almost the same model what I did to stop this problem is install new heat sync on top of the CPU and clean out the dust and debris. When the computer gets to hot it reboots itself or restarts itself because of the thermostat reading to hot and they shut off or restart depending on the code written in the BIOS.
Try that fix first and see if this solves the issue it worked for mine you can purchase heat sync paste at your local Radio Shack or online at amazon.com which by the way is a great place for computer or anything else. Not a plug for them just what I use. Suggestion only.........John

Why your operating system hangs and the possible solutions.

Windows hanged or becomes unresponsive is always a vitalre-ocurring issue Microsoft users have discovered when using thisoperating system. The hanging is random. Windows hangs on the welcomescreen right after login. It can hang during shutdown. The programs youopened can hang or just stop responding including your mouse andkeyboard. This is quite frustrating especially if you are working onsomething important. There are actually a lot of causes to thisproblem, but below are the main reasons why Windows hangs plus theircorresponding fixes:
Viruses and Spyware. Malicious filesmay be hiding in your system. These malware corrupt your files andhinder your computer's performance causing Windows to eventuallyhang. Keep your virus definitions always updated. Make sure to alsodownload the latest security patches and updates. Always run a scan onyour computer to detect these viruses and spyware then delete them.
Too many programs running at once. This consumes more virtual RAM (Random Access Memory) than your systemcan handle Don't open a lot of applications simultaneously. Limit thenumber of software and websites currently running to those that areimportantly only. If you are a heavy multi-tasker, then upgrade yourRAM to at least double what you are using now.
Corrupt Windows Registry. The registry contains information and settings Windows referencesduring operation. This database eventually becomes cluttered because ofredundant and obsolete entries leaving it corrupted. It is advised thento clean your Windows registry to delete those unwanted entries. Amanual clean is not possible though because the registry is the brainof your computer and is somewhat complicated. A minor change or errorin an entry can cause major damage in your operating system.
Diagnosing your system with a registry cleaner is the bestsolution to solve registry problems. It is specialized software thatthoroughly scans your Windows registry, repairs any errors it sees, anddeletes all those invalid entries. By having a clean registry, you willnotice a great improvement in your computer speed and performance. Itwill also completely fix Windows hangs.

My hp compaq nx 6110 keeps hanging, what are the thing i can do to stop this hanging to permanently

For the starters I would suggest re-installing new Operating System. If that will not help, then there is a chance that you have faulty Hard Drive, RAM or even motherboard. In that case you will need to make diagnostics for all possible components or just give to repair shop.

Hi!My laptop hangs/freezes on desktop after starting 10-20 secs. But i can run safe mode and has done System Restore but when I restart happens same problem occurs. I first encountered this problem when...

Hi,
Welcome to FixYa!
Since you already done doing system restore and same thing happens, there's a possibility that the problem is with the Operating System itself. All you need to do is to reinstall the whole operating system.
1. If you have the Recovery Disc that came with the computer, insert the disc and restart the computer.
2. It will ask you to press something, maybe Del or F2 to boot from the disc.
3. Once you press that, your computer will automatically boot from the cd and it will asked you on to which partition you will save it.
4. Choose the partition which have the largest space, usually Disc 0 Partition 1.
5. Follow the next instruction on the screen and it will reinstall the whole Operating System.
Hope this information will help. Thank you for using FixYa!

My computer always hang, then i always restart it until it will function normally...whats the common problem for it? so that i can fix it immediately..

There a lot of unused files in your PC. Just install the
Tune Up Utilities of 2008. Once installed Click open
Tune Up 1-Click Maintenance. This will erase the unused files in your PC. Furthermore, Also install
Your Uninstaller of 2009. Once installed, Click open,
1 - Click Cleaning to clean your PC further. Both programs will correct your problem.
You can connect to the internet and get the download
one at at time. Just type at the Search engine blank
(Free download of Tune Up Utility of 2008) and Click
the search engine. Once you get to the site, click
at the free download) Once you have the download,
install it in your PC, by clicking it open.. Once installed,. Click open the 1-Click Maintenance at the
desktop. Follow the same procedure with the Your
Uninstaller of 2009 download.
I'm pretty sure, this will speed up your PC and no

Furthermore, always keep your anti virus software
updated, and run the virus scan to keep it on tiptop
condition.

I use Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP2

Download this utility and save it to your desktop. Disable any antivirus or anti-malware applications

you have running. Double click the icon once the download is completed. Do not interfere with the

program once it begins. You can sit back and let this utility do its job including the installation of

Windows Recovery Console.

Make sure also that your machine meets system requirements for the games you intend to play.

Update your display drivers and acquire the latest directx drivers.

When complete restart your computer and click START.....RUN.....then type msconfig

and click OK. Click BOOT.INI and under "operating systems" view the order they

appear in and if the one you want to load on boot is listed second......highlight the

first one and click "move down". Next reboot the machine to view the change you've

made. You want the Recovery Console /cmdcons to be placed as your second

boot option. Conceptual View
