Sony KP-FX432M91 TV 10 blinks

Hi
My dad's Sony KP-FX432M91 Projection Tv has developed an intermittent fault where about 60% of the time it is turned on the led turns red and blinks 10 times.  Other times it starts normally.  Can I get some specific advice please? Any service manual and/or schematic will be very helpful too.

    We got the same problem. We bought this tv in singapore and now we live in germany. We got the same problem. It blinks 10times. We asked the sony support - but no one could help us.

    Your help is needed.

    I am also facing the same problem. It blinks 10 times, some times I am lucky to get the picture. Can any one help me.

    Change IC8002 (mcz3001d) and all electrolytic caps around it.

Yuo must repleace ic 8002 MZC3001db

    U can find it on D board where flyback transform fixed but you have to know the chassis

Power button may need to be replaced. Try turning on via remote.

Some TVs need to warm up before coming on. Hitting the power button several times may in all actuality be Turing it off and on.
