Lamp blinking then switched off - Dell 1210S Projector

Here is what the service manual says. Looks like it is not a flasher relay but a function of the body control module.

TURN SIGNAL AND HAZARD WARNING LAMP SYSTEMSystem Description OUTLINE Turn signal lamp and the hazard warning lamp is controlled by combination switch reading function and the flasher control function of BCM.
TURN SIGNAL LAMP OPERATION - BCM detects the combination switch condition by the combination switch reading function. - BCM supplies voltage to the right (left) turn signal lamp circuit when the ignition switch is turned ON and the turn signal switch is in the right (left) position. BCM blinks the turn signal lamp.
HAZARD WARNING LAMP OPERATION BCM supplies voltage to both turn signal lamp circuit when the hazard switch is turned ON. BCM blinks the hazard warning lamp.
TURN SIGNAL INDICATOR LAMP AND TURN SIGNAL SOUND OPERATION - BCM transmits the turn indicator signal to the combination meter with CAN communication while the turn signal lamp and the hazard warning lamp are operating. - Combination meter outputs the turn signal sound with the integrated buzzer while blinking the turn signal indicator lamp according to the turn indicator signal.
HIGH FLASHER OPERATION (FAIL-SAFE) - BCM detects the turn signal lamp circuit status by the terminal current value. - BCM increases the turn signal lamp blinking speed if the bulb or harness open is detected with the turn signal lamp operating. NOTE: The blinking speed is normal while operating the hazard warning lamp.

blinking yellow indicates no lamp or the lamp door is open. if you had the back off you may have gotten the door switch aligned improperly. the door switch is located just inside the lamp door.
the lamp may also be bad.

have you tried making sure the lamp door is closed ... generally 3 blinks means the lamp door is not closed the door pushes a switch closed

Are you sure you installed the lamp properly and put the door back so the interlock switch is functioning. Sometimes installing the lamp will get slightly displaced and is not plugged up properly and will indicate a lamp blinking light.

3 blinks usually means a lamp switch error. Unless they changed the errors. Try reseating the lamp.

Lamp door is not attached properly (all the way) or lamp door switch is bad (less probable case). Remove lamp door. Locate pin that pushes into lamp door switch. Figure out where it pushes, find switch lever over there. Check if it's broken. Than re-install lamp door carefully and secure with attached screw. Make sure also that lamp door is not melted/deformed in any way. If yes - it's got to be replaced with new one.

Your lamp door switch or lamp switch (there are 2) may not be fully engaged or one may have failed. Try seating the lamp again, you may not have it fully installed.

Make sure that lamp door is fixed securely and pressing lamp door switch as 3 times blinks shows lamp door switch is not On.

When I try to look up blink codes I'm getting conflicting info. On this model is the lamp on side of TV? If so 6 blinks is showing as lamp door error, the micro switch the lamp door makes contact with is either not closed all the way or possibly defective.You can try reseating door or check the switch and wiring connections coming off it. You could try temporarily by-passing the switch by making your own short across the plug it connects to.
If the lamp mounts in front 6 blinks is a defective thermal fuse.The fuse is mounted right next to the lamp.From the back you can disconnect the plug for the fuse and check for continuity if its open its bad.

same problem as others 3 blinking green lights then orangey colors then 3 red blinking lights afterwards shuts down fan runs for about 2 mins solution check your door cover for warpage or deformed just a bit under set screw there is a push in switch try and push it in with q tip while holding turn on tv if it works then that door is deformed and defective change it
