If you don't have access to the settings the handset is using to select the security protocol, or know what they are, the issue is probably with the protocol the handset is using to connect to the wifi, Check the computer that can connect, to see which protocol it's using. Then, I'd try a support ticket with the manufacturer of the handset to see if the issue is resolvable. It really depends on how flexible the handset protocols are...None, WEP, WPA2-PSK (TKIP), WPA2-PSK (AES), and WPA2-PSK (TKIP/AES) are all different options. Choose the wrong protocol, and you can't connect.

Hi..
I had that problem too.. I scan the radio IP with Dude, software that come free for mikrotik.. and I got 192.168.1.245 for my radio. since that day I know that 3220 will go to that IP after flash reset. the mode will be Ap only, if you change to AP on operational mode than it will go to the standart Ip either 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.2
Hope this will help

that is right the access point does not have a dhcp server. that will give an ip address to all of your computers or device connected to it wireless. If you have a modem with a dhcp server there will be no problem with the IP but if the modem does not you must have a router and now an access point.
SOURCE: Reset AP-700 failed
Simple solution, firstly do not press the reset button to long as it will erase all software, or you will have to do this the hard way. google the software called ScanTool run that from either ethernet or wireless, this tool shows you the AP-700's ip, mac, and name (some techs run these AP's coadjacent so it shows the name as well). You can change the ip of the AP-700 from here most of the time with the proper pass, then you should be able to connect to it regardless. if this dont help ... Proxim/Support/AP700 you will find more of an in depth approach of these things there.

Connect using Lan Cable
be sure to enable java on your Browser.
Use ONLY IE: some router refuse other browser.
SET your PC on a static IP address on SAME subnet as your router (but of course different IP).
If subnet concept is NOT clear to just just ask here.
When connected with router (on Lan Cable) check every setting (WPA-PSK) TKIP key, Broadcast / Channel etc.
You can also disable every WLAN protection and restore it later.
Activate WLAN connection WHEN you are STILL connected.
Last but not least: SET your DNS IP address = your gateway IP (router)

Try swapping the ends of the ethernet cable between your PS3 and the router. Otherwise, try a different ethernet cable. Also check that there are lights on by your ethernet port on the PS3 and the router.
