If you don't have access to the settings the handset is using to select the security protocol, or know what they are, the issue is probably with the protocol the handset is using to connect to the wifi, Check the computer that can connect, to see which protocol it's using. Then, I'd try a support ticket with the manufacturer of the handset to see if the issue is resolvable. It really depends on how flexible the handset protocols are...None, WEP, WPA2-PSK (TKIP), WPA2-PSK (AES), and WPA2-PSK (TKIP/AES) are all different options. Choose the wrong protocol, and you can't connect.

SOURCE: EOC-3220+ flash reset probs

Hi..
I had that problem too.. I scan the radio IP with Dude, software that come free for mikrotik.. and I got 192.168.1.245 for my radio. since that day I know that 3220 will go to that IP after flash reset. the mode will be Ap only, if you change to AP on operational mode than it will go to the standart Ip either 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.1.2

Hope this will help

SOURCE: DHCP option is disabled when LAN IP is Dynamic on DWL-G700AP

that is right the access point does not have a dhcp server. that will give an ip address to all of your computers or device connected to it wireless. If you have a modem with a dhcp server there will be no problem with the IP but if the modem does not you must have a router and now an access point.

SOURCE: Reset AP-700 failed

Simple solution, firstly do not press the reset button to long as it will erase all software, or you will have to do this the hard way. google the software called ScanTool run that from either ethernet or wireless, this tool shows you the AP-700's ip, mac, and name (some techs run these AP's coadjacent so it shows the name as well). You can change the ip of the AP-700 from here most of the time with the proper pass, then you should be able to connect to it regardless. if this dont help ... Proxim/Support/AP700 you will find more of an in depth approach of these things there.

SOURCE: Wireless set up problem - no gateway ip or limited connectivity

Connect using Lan Cable
be sure to enable java on your Browser.
Use ONLY IE: some router refuse other browser.
SET your PC on a static IP address on SAME subnet as your router (but of course different IP).
If subnet concept is NOT clear to just just ask here.
When connected with router (on Lan Cable) check every setting (WPA-PSK) TKIP key, Broadcast / Channel etc.
You can also disable every WLAN protection and restore it later.
Activate WLAN connection WHEN you are STILL connected.
Last but not least: SET your DNS IP address = your gateway IP (router)

SOURCE: PS3 (80GB) Obtain IP Address : Failed, Help?

Try swapping the ends of the ethernet cable between your PS3 and the router. Otherwise, try a different ethernet cable. Also check that there are lights on by your ethernet port on the PS3 and the router.

How to insert sim card

Probably nowhere. A desktop is not made for that, so I have a Mifi (MobileWifi)
Mine is from Vodafone and is a Huawei enclosure with SIM card slot. this Mifi sends out a Wifi signal I can connect up to 5 computers, tablets or desktops with Wifi-card to.
so for this solution you need:
1. A Wifi-networkcard in your desktop. Laptops do have it standard, because they are meant to be mobile devices.
A Wifi- network card for desktops to be installed inside the desktop.
You will need to install also a driver from a disk or download from support site from the manufacturer.
http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/24164-43-whats-wireless-adapter-desktop
2. A Mifi where the SIM can be inserted.
Do a Google search for mobile hotspot to find a Device for that.

How can I connect TP-link M5250 in USA

Read the instructions manual and have your ISP crednetial ready. 192.168.0.1 of router address to access via your browser. The only way to set it up is to follow the manual instructions, without a ISP usereame and password you will not be able to connect to anything.

Connect mifi

Open internet option's or "create homegroup" option on your pc and enable your pc to become an access point. Doing so will allow the pc to share the wifi with any compatible device. The handset cannot find the IP due to a firewall so turning those off manually would also work but do so only as a last resort.

No light only power light is on...

First, did you pay the bill? Unplug the IPS modem, remove battery, if applicable, unplug TP Link, shut down computer. Ckeck ALL cables reseat, Replace battery, plug in ISP modem, allow it to selftest, plug in TP Link, allow it to selftest, Reboot computer. If you connect ISP Modem directly to PC and it doesn't ID your IP address use this: http://helpdeskgeek.com/networking/release-and-renew-an-ip-address/ To assist you. If this doesn't work contact your ISP provider . Try another Wireless Access Point. My ISP, Xfinity, drops from time to time , for no appearent reason, due to a number of outside difficulties.

How to configure TP-link TL-wr340g on tata broadband

Hello,

If you don't have any internet access, you can reset the router by unplugging it from power and then plug it back in. Do the same for your ADSL or cable ISP modem which you have connected on your TP-Link router.
RESET FIRST YOUR ADSL MODEM and then your router.

Other solution might be to do ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew on your command line window from your computer.

You can find your wifi router's user manual (PDF) on this link:
http://www.tp-link.com/resources/software/200943083466.pdf

Please mark as solution if this helped you at all.

Thanks.

Error 045 when setup the modem with Win7 64 bit, connection to network failed.

What the problem? i'm also using this router...
how you setting the router?using wifi or LAN?
BEFORE THAT,
DOWNLOAD HERE

RUN INSTALLER FIRST BEFORE CONNECT TO YOUR ROUTER.
connect line rj11 to link dsl,rj45 to your pc/laptop.(dont use wifi to setup the router)
then plug the power and ON the wifi router.
After that, check light for ADSL, WLAN INTERNET AND PORT(1 OR 2 OR 3 OR 4) IS BLINK

..IF light is okay and blink, then you can setup the utilities.
Is easy. TP-LINK get ready with software that you can setting the router as like professional with the secure encryption. For receiver I'm preferred you using tp-link also. Then you can use QSS function only just click button QSS..

I am using my computer about 40 metres away from the Thomson5BF744 modem supplied by Telecom, at this distance I cannot connect to Internet, I can connect to Internet within 15 metres just with low signal...

You can use repeaters which you can place midway between you and the WiFi access point.

Take a look at http://reviews.cnet.com/4520-11334_7-6271405-5.html to have an idea of how it works.

With strategically placed repeaters, you can cover very large areas efficiently.
