C284 indentations on paper after fixing takes place but no visible bulges or knicks on fixing belt or pressure roller changed fixing unit brand new still indentations are taking place apparently iam the only one with this problem in RSA Iam hoping someone in a different country has experienced this problem and has a solution for me looking forward to your response
Sir mam are you sure it is not happening before fixing does your transfer belt (Shine y looking thing inside the machine when you open the right side of the machine) Does it have only one pic finger in the middle is that where the nick is located. I believe you transfer belt is causing it not the fixing unit. Stop a copy before fixing does the nick move on different copies

remove the opc drum.
there are two black plastic flags that detect paper jams. one is high up just below the fuser unit. The other is roughly half way up the printer between two small transfer rollers very close to the opto sensor. Apparently it frequetly gets jammed behind the plastic cover, and once jammed you would never realise it is there.
I managed to prise it out from behind the cover and the "paper jam at transfer roller" message was cleared.
Unless you know it is there and hiding it is not obvious at all that anything is wrong.

On the end of the image unit you will find a white bit of plastic with a small screw in the middle, make sure this screw is tight and then reinstall the units(give the units a bit of a shake too)
SOURCE: Konica Minolta 2490MF - Paper size error
Need to set A4 size default on the printer driver itself.
Go to Printers and Faxes / Konica Minolta 2490MF right click/ Printing preferences /
Create a "Easy Set" with a new name. Set all paper sizes to A4. Save the new settings to the new Easy Set.
Click apply.
should be o.k.
