Codes PO672, PO673 & PO674. Where are these glow plugs located?

Hi.

The glow plugs are plugged into the cylinders. They basically do the same that spark plugs do in gasoline/petrol fueled engines.

It is quite rare that glow plugs heater circuits go bad all at once. Test also the wiring harness.

Here a forum that can help you a lot. Picture below is from the tdiclub.com forum in this link:

I smell gas when I turn on my oven. I replaced the gas line but have the same result.

Your Maytag wall oven is equipped with
pilotless ignition. Heat from the Glow Bar
ignitor lights the oven burner. With this type of
ignition system, the oven will not operate
during a power failure or if the wall oven is
disconnected from the wall outlet.

if it is plugged in and everything, your glow bar may be broken, which would mean you will either need to replace it, or get professional service.

Gas dryer, glow plug functional, gas line on, no heat, faint chatter while glow plug is on, solenoid ??

The problem is the dryer coils. They tend to fail as they heat up. They are inexpensive and easy to replace. Here is a link that should help http://appliancehelponline.com/gdryertroublevideo.html

The glow plug just lights up but no flame on my maytag mdg 5500aww

If the ignitor is glowing but the gas does not light check the flame sensor. If it is OK then the gas valve coils may have to be replaced.

Maytag Neptune MDG 5500 AWQ heats sporatically

your dryer has a safety feature that it will not run or heat when the door is opened. It is so no gas fumes are exhauseted into your home. Once the safety is engaged, It will not allow the dryer to restart for a short while. It should clear itself after only a few minutes. Hope this helps, good luck.
