This symptoms indicated of TV tuner malfunction but we have to isolate the signal from fault. First confirm if the cable wire is properly attached to the tuner of the tv. Confirm also to your local cable provider if the signal is good and not the issue here.
If the signal reception is not the problem and confirmed that it is working fine, the tv tuner was already faulty. This part is where the cable wire directly connected and need to replaced with new one to back the channel in normal operation again. Part no. is printed from its body itself.

If you don't have necessary tools and test instrument and can't troubleshoot the unit yourself, I would advice you to look for a professional to isolate the problem.

Also, check if your unit is still under warranty/extended warranty period, avail it because the manufacturer will fix it for free. Opening the back cover will void the warranty.
