It is the panel one side is shorted there is a recall on the E70", E60" both have one side is shorted and there is a repair for it but VIZIO won't do it they just send you out a new one.

Contact the authorized service centre for Vizio. Spare part to this model is very rare, and hard to get on open electronic spare part market. Electro help

plz first tell us that backlight is in working condition or not
