Unable to add avi files to to media library

Hi,

I am unable to add avi files to the zen via explorer.

Its says that the avi format is unsupported?  .....weird considering it supposedly supports this format?

There are many codecs what create avi files but some of them may not be compatible with your software. Convert them to something compatible

You can download an AVI player on your PC to open the avi file, and you could try Leawo Blu-ray Player, which could support a lot of formats including AVI and it's a region-free and 4K player. Or you can get a video converter to convert the video format. Or you can check on what other format your device can support and convert AVI to the compatible format using some video converting tools.

Hey,

you won't be able to sync the avi file because your type of avi is not supported in the Zen

if you have the creative software on your computer well go
into the menu and select creative, because I don't have it in front of me I can't tell you where this is though all you have to do is search through and look to find "video converter" it's as easy as that.
all you do is when you find this is browse for you file and say what format you want to format to and start formating. they will ask if you want to sync you finished file to your zen.

What's the video format to add videos to m4303? i try flv..mp4..wmv.. when i go to video it says empty

You can load 'suitable' Video files (MPEG4/WMV/AVI) via Internet Explorer in the same manner as for your Audio files but in the appropriate folder(s) on your Player.
If you cannot use EasyRip, there are other 'Video Converters' that could be used to convert your Video fles to your Player supported format.
You can determine what is a 'suitable' video (or Audio for that matter) format by using Windows Explorer 'Properties' for a known files on your player.
Good luck...

I need help in downloading music to my MP3 player. I have a Creative Zen Vplus

Hi
According to Creative Labs, you should either be using the Creative Media Explorer if you are new to MP3 and WMA ripping and want to build up a library or prefer to manage your Zen player as a removable disk drive, or using the Creative MediaSource Player/Organizer if you "frequently need to playback or organize music in your computer".
The Zen player can handle three primary types of audio files too, the common MP3 format, WMA format and the more unusual WAV format. It's quite likely that your existing audio files are in one of these formats, probably WMA if you've been using Windows Media Player to rip your CDs. If you've purchased your music, it'll be in WMA DRM, that is, a version of the WMA format that includes digital rights management (so you can't just email a copy of the audio file to your pals once you've purchased and downloaded it). Those can play on the Creative Zen too, fortunately.
To actually hook up your Creative Zen MP3 player to your computer, you'll need the included USB cable, which should connect as shown in this spiffo Creative illustration:
http://www.askdavetaylor.com/0-blog-pics/creative-zen-audio-usb.png (chek the above figure)
Once you've hooked it up, the Zen unit should automatically go into USB connection mode (wouldn't be very zen-like if it didn't!) and then you should be able to find the device by opening up My Computer on your desktop.
When you really dig into the Zen user's guides, you'll find that they recommend Creative Media Explorer for transfering audio files: just click on the "Import Media" button in the application, find the MP3, WAV or WMA files already on your computer, and it should be easy to then copy them onto the player.
That should get you going.

My zen mozaic won't support any video files i put on it. what files does it take?

well, creative zen likes avi, mpg and wmv formats

the reason that your creative zen won't read the avi is because the necessary codec is missed.

you can use iorgsoft creative zen video converter to convert the video to mp4,wmv then put them to creative zen.

http://www.iorgsoft.com/Creative-Zen-Video-Converter/

if you want to put DVD onto creative Zen, fine, you can use iOrgsoft DVD to Creative Zen converter to remove the DRM(Digital Right Management) and regional restriaction from DVD, and you can also use it to convert DVD to avi, wmv or mpg for playback on creative zen.
