My Canon ImageRunner C3100n Copier has an occasional streak down the page in color copy mode. otherwise works great.
has 145k on the counter.
also trying to locate a owners manual to help find the answers.

Is it a grey/green colour, not one of the C,M,Y,K colours?

If so I think it will either be a worn out cleaning blade or drum.

Hello,
this is error related to ITB belt - Image Transfer Belt.

Probable cause can be fault on HP detection sensor or on drive rollers of ITB belt. How ever, the ITB belt needs to be removed and inspected/fixed.
