Do you get video signal before it goes off? Look at the lamp/cover led and see if it blinks.

When I start the car there's a loud sqeeking noise that goes away after 1 minute 2003 es 330

if it was mine, I would buy some "fan belt dressing spray" and spray my fan belts or have them adjusted. first spray them once, if sound stops a few days, have the tension adjusted. if spray does not work the first time, this is not the problem.

My 2004 chevy tahoe reads that it overheating when in idle only. once starts moving goes to normal tempature reading. Why does it do that? Also notice that it has no engine light coming on when it does...

this is simple, when the engine is idling there is no air going through the radiator to cool the engine ,but when the car is moving there is air going through the & cools the engine, the problem might be that the fans are not coming on that is why the temp. goes up to 245deg.you will need to find out why the fans are not working, maybe a blown fuse or faulty temperature sensor the activates the fans......hope this helps......cheers.

Once you turn on aircon with fan with high speed, the air blown doesn't get cold even after a while. The fan makes some wierd high pitch sound as if like metal against each other. The fan stops once in a...

Your AC needs a good overhauling as the fan seems struck on the bearings or the blades are rubbing the sides. Also the compressor fails to cool as there can be low gas, low pumping pressure or a blocked condenser.
You need to remove clean the coils and lubricate the fan to be set back. Check the capacitor to the fan and compressor as a low value will reduce the speed and so reduce pumping pressure.

My 1998 ford taurus get super super hot when i am sitting at a signal, once i start the car moving again the temp goes back down to normal. or if i am sitting in driveway after car has warmed up it gets to...

First thing to check is if your cooling fan(s) at radiator is working. Sounds like may not be, and as for the fluid leak, if it's coolant, it may be from overheating while sitting idling. Get that fan checked first and once that's cured, the leak, (if coolant) may disappear as well.

My olds is overheating when it is when it is just idleing. The temp comes down once I start moving again or if I turn on the air. Is this a sign of a bad fan or possibly the thermostat?

It sounds like a cooling fan problem. You state the temp runs high when at a stop and idling, but goes down once you start moving. If the fan(s) are not operating, moving forces air through radiator keeping the temp at a normal range. Have the relay/fuse for the cooling fan(s) checked. They are located under the hood in the main fuse/relay box. If they are good, check the sensor that sends the signal to the fan(s). If it is good, then it could be a bad motor on the fan(s).

If you manually start the fan rotating and then switch on power, will it start up OK? You may have a bad winding in the motor or the fan is mechanically bound up in a specific area but once it goes past that it may continue to rotate.. Or.. your fan motor may be damaged. Buzzing is normally associated with the motor unable to get past a bound up spot .. Hope this helps..
