Bluetooth not connecting to iphone to stream music

Audi MMI 2G if equipped with bluetooth still can not stream music wireless. Bluetooth support HPF (hands free profile for calls) but not A2DP for streaming high-quality music.
You can add Dension 500 Gateway module, or AUX and connect bluetooth receiver, or add AMI (Audi Music Interface) with Bluetooth adapter for iPod connector.

Jimmie Monica Hey, Its not a problem with the unit. You have the blue or Blue/White wire hooked up wrong. Disconnect both the blue wire and the blue and white wire and I guarantee the sound starts working on everything. If you have one of those two wires hooked up for a power antenna or remote amp turn on, then switch which one you are using and that will fix the problem permanently. Disconnecting them both will get it to work though. I guarantee it. Please post back and let me know if it works for you. Thanks

Some accessories designed for previous iPods and older iPhone models will not function correctly or in some cases at all with your iPhone, there is not much to be done for this problem other than trying a different accessory. In some cases the accessory will work regardless of the message so try using the device anyway and see if it works.

As I have learned the hard way the iphone's bluetooth is only to pair with wireless bluetooth headset and car stereo. You cannot connect to any other kind of devices. Also you must have Iphone Os 3.0 or higher to stream music to your car stereo. If it still does not work then the belkin bluetooth audio receiver should solve your problen

I have the same problem with my HBS-250. It was working fine on my iPod Touch. It worked the first couple of weeks on my iPhone 4 then stopped playing music. Phone funtion works. No music or podcasts or streaming from the web

iphone works well with LG HBS 200, I am listening to music in iphone though LG HBS 200 right now..it works like charm
