Can't access my D; drive
Assuming it is an internal drive, and it's hooked up properly, most of the time all you need to do is reboot your computer. The computer will recognize it as just a plain disc drive without proprietary drivers, but it will recognize it. It sounds to me like you might have either a bad connection or perhaps the ribbon isn't pushed all the way onto the pins. Does the light on it blink when you start up your computer, before Windows (you are using Windows, right) starts up?
