I'm reading that it is an air cooled engine with a carby
the indications are that either there is a heat sink problem for the electronic ignition ( ignition breaking down from the heat of the motor or the carburetor getting too hot and boiling off the fuel ( vapor lock)
There should be a heat stopping adaptor between the carby and the inlet manifold ( bakelite material)
fuel lines should be well clear of the engine
check float level as while it may be operating well , the hot fuel will eventually drop the level to a point where it is too low for full operation of the engine
check that the cooling fins around the head and the cylinder are not covered with dirt/dust
The door seals warm is from the mullion heater that minimizes moisture from forming in that area, under working conditions. You need to provide more information.... What did you see that made you defrost it 3 weeks ago..
Drain your main tank at least once a week (everyday if you use it everyday and are in a cold work area). Run the compressor in the same temperature environment as your tool. Warm air holds more moisture than cold so if your compressor is in a warm area and the work is in a cold are ther wil be excess moisture in the hose air.
Compressor not running? have we got power yes, red light on so we must now decide if the stat is us or the comp is a problem. It must have been a hard week for you, get a freezer geezer to give it a once over.
What price new? to replace against a replacement comp if needed. could be an overload reley if there is one but its rare, good luck.
Hi, As the weather is getting warmer for many people their freezer and/or refrigerator do not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...there are also many other things that can go wrong. If you are hearing a clicking or buzzing then check out the last two tips. If your refrigerator is running but warm, then… Check out this tip that I wrote about that... it is a great place to start trouble shooting your unit...and something that you can do rather then calling a repair person to do a simple thing for you...
