SOURCE: Types of Barcode that can be scanned using Symbol MC9090

It can read all standard symbologies apart from PDF symbologies unless it is equipped with an imager scan engine.

We use a HHT base station that is connected via USB and then use Microsoft ActiveSync software to connect. Once connected you can explore the HHT from the PC and drag and drop to the HHT.

I cant make calls due to my pc being in flight mode. the phone says "do you want to turn off flight mode" when I click it, it does nothing

Try sliding the phone open and dialing out that way, if it asks if you want to turn the phone on tap yes and make your call and see what happens.

First time connection?

You need to have active sync in your computer to connect pda to computer

MC9090 driver

The MC9090 does not require any installation.

All it requires that you have ActiveSync installed on you PC. That can be downloaded directly from Microsoft. got to www.microsoft.com and just seach for activesync.

Just make sure that the MC9090 is configured to comminicate via USB

Settings >> System >> USBConfig

Make sure it is set to [USB Client Mode].

Also

Settings >> Connections >> USB to PC

Make sure that [Enable advanced network functionality] is ticked.
