You will need to go to the website for the motherboard manufacturer and download the updated drivers for that motherboard. This is common with all the changes that windows goes through in a life cycle.

MY MOTHERBOARD WON'T BOOT ERROR BIOS IS NOT FULLY ACPI COMPLIANT

Run BIOS configuration...power on...then press the DEL to run BIOS setup configuration...if you cannot access this process. Your Motherboard BIOS IC is defective and need to replace it. But most of this kind of problem...technicians replace the whole MOTHERBOARD with new one.
So, I suggest you to replace the motherboard with new. Do not intent to replace the BIOS IC because it will not work...due to different programming language depending on the brand of BIOS. Because AWARD and PHOENIX has different configuration...

ACPI is not a compliant

Enter you bios & disable ACPI. Restart the system. Than update your windows. There should be an update for ACPI through Microsoft update service. Once installed restart your system & enter into your bios. Now enable ACPI. Save & exit the bios.
If this does not help you can try the work around found on Microsoft's web site. See the link provided;

The BIOS in the system is not fully ACPI compliant. I want to updated BIOS. How can I do?

Hi meangmoeurn, what makes you think your bios is not ACPI complaint?
Enter your bios & disable ACPI. The reason for this is windows must be fully updated. One windows has been fully updated you can turn on ACPI. Its a software issue.
Read through this Microsoft link;
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314088

Update for ACPI, (Windows update);
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=B0FF829D-C427-4F40-BC56-F481837EFFBE&displaylang=en
The above update should be included with other updates. This is why I suggested the above.
If you still feel you need to update your bios,
(Flash Utility software). I'll need the motherboard model number & manufacture's name.

Good luck meangmoeurn!
Feel free to correct me on this issue.
Thank you for using fixya.
