need to do a RESET. Then try your local WX frequency to verify it works. The RESET will wipe out all existing programming, just to warn you. Check your manual, or RadioShack.com for details.

Needs Motorola software and RIB box.with programming cable $$ It is a very specialized professional radio for a specific use.

The MTS2000 shares software with the MCS, software package # RVN4176N includes DOS software RVN4097 for the MT2000. (It may be on the same CD, not sure.) You will need to use a "slower" computer, era 1999-2003 to program, due to speed issues.
