Psr s 910 keyboard. Why does it turn on for 5 minutes, then turn off?

Be sure to use the original adapter and still in good condition/normal.
Have you tried, at the time after 5 minutes then turn off, and then you restart immediately, the unit is turn ON again? Or is there a time lag to ON, after power-switch is pressed?
Errors like this one,may be due to defective adapters (works only for a moment, after being hot, stop sending voltage), and can also be caused by damage to the regulator section in PSR910.
To check this, it must open/disassemble the PSR910.
"Do not do this if you are not experienced in electronic repair.
Leave it to the experts."

At Yamaha PSR S950 keyboard, there is a setting "AUTO POWER-OFF" in the UTILITY menu.
This setting function is To prevent unnecessary power consumption. It will Automatically turns the power off if the instrument is not operated for a specified period of time. The amount of time that elapses before the power is automatically turned off can be set (default setting: 30 min.). The setting is retained even if the power is turned off.
At the PSR-S910, this function does not exist.

Sound goes off after 15 Min

Assuming it is not hardware but soft settings...
1) Check and make sure that your TV does not have the timer set.
The Timer feature allows you to set a day and time for the TV to turn on automatically and the device and channel to display when it switches on. If the TV is already on at the requested time, the TV automatically tunes to the channel you designated in the Timer menu.
When the Timer turns on the TV, the following message is displayed: "Press a button for the TV to stay on." Press any button on the remote control within five minutes if you wish the TV to remain on.
Note: The TV clock must be set before you can use the
Timer feature (see preceding page to set the clock).
On/Off
Press down arrow / up arrow to enable or disable the Timer.
2) If not working, try SYSTEM RESET. Press SYSTEM RESET button on the front panel with pointed object (e.g. straight paperclip). TV turns off, green LED flashes for about 1 minute. When it stops flashing turn the TV on again. All settings other than Parental Lock need to be set again using the manual.
3) TV RESET. If all else fails for soft error. Your manual describes this last resort for soft type error. It could be hardware problem needing more expertise.
Manual can be viewed on a computer at

How to set the time on dmr eh59

Automatic clock setting is done if you initially accept to use the guide plus system (should do). Only if for some reason it does not work, you can set the clock manually following these steps Clock Usually, the unit's setup function automatically adjusts the
clock to correct time. Under some reception conditions, however,
the unit cannot set the clock automatically.
In this case, follow the operation steps below to manually set the clock.
1 Press [3, 4] to select "Off" of "Automatic" and press
[OK].
2 Press [2, 1] to select the item you want to change.
The items change as follows:
Hour,Minute,Second,Day,Month.Year

3 Press [3, 4] to change the setting.
You can also use the numbered buttons for setting.
4 Press [OK] when you have finished the settings.
The clock starts.
If a TV station transmits a time setting signal, and when
"Automatic" in the Clock setting menu is set to "On", the automatic
time correction function checks the time and if necessary it is
adjusted several times every day.

HP 2710 Printer

Issue When using colored paper in the all-in-one, printing or copying is slow. Solution This issue is a result of the automatic paper type sensor misreading the colored paper as photo paper. The print out takes longer because the unit is printing in Best mode instead of Normal mode. Follow the steps below to temporarily change the Automatic Paper Type setting from within the application that you are printing from.
  1. Click File , then Print or Print Setup .
  2. Select the appropriate all-in-one from the drop-down list and click Properties .
  3. Click the Paper/Quality tab and under Type is: select Plain Paper . Changes made within the application might not be permanent and the setting will default back to Automatic after closing the application. The setting will have to be changed each time colored paper is used in the all-in-one.
Follow the steps below to change the default Automatic Paper Type setting to plain paper.
NOTE: By following the steps below, the default Automatic Paper Type setting will be changed to Plain Paper. In order to use a different paper type in the all-in-one (e.g., photo paper), the setting will have to be temporarily changed to reflect the new paper type.
  1. Click Start , point to Settings , and then click Control Panel .
  2. Double-click Printers and Faxes .
  3. Right-click the appropriate all-in-one, and then click Printing Preferences .
  4. Click the Paper/Quality tab and under Type is: select Plain Paper . This sets the default paper type setting to Plain Paper.
