SOURCE: Cuisinart CUI DGB-300BK... just recently started

Beeping: Push the cover to the grinder down as far as possible. If that doesn't stop the beeping, clean out that hole with a toothpick.

I just called Cuisinart Consumer Service Center at 1-800-726-0190 and the representative I got (Christina) placed an order for the part and had it shipped to me. I didn't have to pay anything! It should be here in 7-10 days. Guess I'll be doing Starbucks until then, but a small price to pay overall for my favorite coffee maker.
