Sound works but there is no display on the monitor. it worked for the first few days then now cant see nothing. Does the park brake wire have to be hooked up in order to show the display cause i know it...

  • Yes it does. The emergency brake wire is a safety feature. If you don't have it hooked up it won't even display anything. If you do have it hooked up then you have to have the emergency brake engaged to be able to view DVD'S. The manufacturer does this so people can't just unhook the brake wire and watch DVD'S while driving

I have a pyle plts77du. it was playing for about 20 min then i trun off the car. i push it back to mont it and trun the car back on then nothing happend..... like a little red light come on then went...

Its possible the connections From you Remote Wire are not fully tight.. Same goes with The Ground and positive,,,

I would remove and redo all connections..
Even as Far as re stripping the wire for best connection

These things are usually wired into the gear selector electrical switches but easiest way is to try removing one wire at a time unless of course you have a wiring diagram for it that shows a connection of the gear switch system
