Magic Chef Dual temp. wine Cooler #MCWBC77DZC

I have a wine cooler that I bought 1 yr ago, I keep my top level for white wine a t 49 degrees and my bottom at 61 degrees for reds no problem until now. my bottom will not maintain it 61 degree setting and drops to into the 40's. I have unplugged the refrigerator over night and plugged it back again the next morning but the temp is dropping again only in the bottom half, the top is maintaining the proper temp. and i can adjust it up or down and it work fine just the bottom half will not hold the warmer temp and drops.
any suggestions to fix this problem?

I suspect the cooler can only actually regulate one of those temperatures and the other one just drags along behind. Perhaps the weather is now warmer and the cooler has to keep the motor on longer to keep cool. The unregulated bottom temperature ends up cooler as a consequence.

Either that or the opposite effect is doing it.

The answer might be to find a 61 degree place in your house to keep the reds.

SOURCE: Magic Chef Wine Cooler Model MCWC44DZ Where can I

On the Magic Chef site you can order parts for the cooler. I took mine out and treid to find them on the web somewhere else and could not locate them anywhere except China and England. I know this isn't true but tried every search option I could think of. They are about $22 plus shipping (HIGH). I have a Haier BC112G. It is not cooling at all. Temp panel works, so I can set the thermostat up or down, but nothing happens and it just goes back to room temp after that.

Our magic chef wine cooler (mcwc50dbt) when temp is set on digital panel at 45-50 it jumps immediately back to 70 degrees constantly

Magic Chef Wine Cooler Model #MCWC50DBT will not hold correct temperature. Temps fluctuate between about 45 to often 70 degrees F. Also, often get an "EEF" error message.

Mr. Lindquist: We are experiencing essentially the same problem. Have tried replacing the temperature control board without change. Would be interested to know if you get a solution.

I, too, have just seen (late June 2013) the "HH" code on my Magic Chef wine cooler (and it is running too cold and I can't reset the temperature). Have you found a solution since your posting of about 1 year ago?
