Pace Edwards BedLocker Tonneau Cover - BL2078 will not open or close using the remote. I can hear clicking like on & off but no movement. Work great moving it by hand with brake released.

Funny, I thought this question had two answers? One was by the Indian AI Answer Bot Raja Akhter since deleted and another poster who said the brake was in the rear bed front left hand side. Not a lot of use as you said it works with the brake released.

You say you are getting no response. I always find it is better to phone. Speak to a real person in Support / R&D. It sounds like you have a relay problem. The clicking it the relay trying to switch power to the motor.

The phone number is at the bottom of the page. How old it is? Under warranty? The warranty is 7 years. What did the local dealer say?

Lift master remote model 893lm won't open or close door

There should be a button on the back of the opener itself. If you push it the opener should flash on and off or make a click sound a few times. After that click which ever button you want the door to be opened with on the remote

My HT-E5400 disk tray opens and closes without command being selected.

most likely faulty front panel buttons. The touch-buttons on these models act up and sometimes trigger even when not touched. Have to replace the front panel in order to correct.

Bedlocker won't open

I read on another forum where they had a problem with some of their Brake Mechanisms failing.
"Easy fix. Just take 3 screws out from the side of the motor and the unit comes right off. The brake is added so that the bedlocker stays locked in-place once the pressure sensor shuts off the motor. Without it, the cover may activate with vibration of the moving vehicle."

Garage Door Wont Close Craftsman 1/2 HP (1998)

What it is is the electric beams at the door are getting blinded buy the sun or out of line. They are the two black boxes on both sides of the door about a foot from the ground. Put a piece of card board in front of them not blocking the beam dut to block the sun. All that they are is safety beams for kids so they do not get hurt. If you have to move them to the top where the sun will not hit them. Sorry to say though you can not remove them all the way. Also make sure the lite on them is not blinking if so they are out of line.

Craftsman garage door opener - Clicking/blinking - no open/close

First, check the safety eyes. There should be a light on each eye that is on. If not, realign the eyes. If that does not work, check the force settings. They are the blue adjustment screws. They should be set on 4-5. Do not go above 6 or there is a problem with either the door or opener, or both. If this does not work check all of the wiring on the back of the opener. 1 should be a red wire, 2 should be three white wires and 3 should be two black wires. Check the wiring to the wall button. the back of the button indicates red and white screws. To take off the wall button you will have to remove the big white button if you have the "deluxe wall control" If this does not fix it, respond with more info on door position and what happens with remotes and wall button.
