I'm looking for a way to forward callers I'm on the phone with straight to my voicemail. Is this possible?
If you have 3 way calling ,you should be able to do that, as long as you are talking voicemail and not the answering machine, flash your receiver and dial voice mail, flash and join calls, you should be able to hang up and they will be to your voicemail.
Testimonial: "I misspoke, I'm actually trying to get them to the answering machine. I attempted using flash, but it goes to the voicemail inbox to listen to messages, instead of being able to leave one. Is it possible to forward them to the answering machine?"

It depends on what you mean by not set up. Voicemail has specific steps to make it work and it starts with admin access to both the voice mail and phone system. If it is already set up (ie you can call 165 or whatever the VM number is), then what greeting it plays will give you an idea if what needs to be done.
If it plays a general greeting like when you call in from outside, it may be that you just need to add the mailbox for your extension. If it doesn't answer at all, then it's probalby time to call an installer.

You have a FWD/DND button on the top of the phone. Press it and read your display. One of the choices is FWD with a destination displayed, one is DND, and one is Fwd/DND Off :-)
If you don't have DND set, it will only toggle 2 actions.
You can change the time/destination by using the *7104 xxx # where xxx is the voice mail system. 7104 is the CF No answer code (5 being busy/no answer and 2 being all calls and 3 is busy alone). *7100 clears it all.
In case you wonder what happened to *7101...it's Do Not Disturb.

Only if you turn on Live Call screening or executive override. Both of those options require some system programming and have some negative features.

SOURCE: How to forward incoming calls
There is a feature that most dealers do not activate called "Voice Mail Transfer" which transfers an incoming call to a person's (or department's) voice mail box. Forwarding calls to someone's mailbox is not possible without special programming by a certified dealer.
