My sony kdf-42we655 has 7 flashing red blinks. please help.

    I had a repair guy come out to fix this. He said it was a major power serge that fried one of the boards. He replaced a few parts and could not get the tv working. He said he needed to contact sony for assistance and would call me back. A week later no call ???
    Now me tv is blinking 5 times instaed of 7. any help? please.

Audio Protect (7 Flash): When DC voltage is detected at the speaker or
woofer outputs, IC3604/pin128 (TV-micro) goes low and IC3604 turns off
the main power (AC relay turns OFF).
Troubleshooting Tips:
1) Main cause of defective will be located on the KD-board
2) Confi rm KD-board is securely seated on the G2-board
3) Replace KD-board
