Once you have the message, try removing the paper from the bypass tray, then introducing it again. Alternatively, leave the tray empty then send the data, when it asks for paper, introduce your 11 x 7, and it should work.

When i try printing with my sharp ar-m205, it automatically reselect bypass tray and gives error "check bypass tray: out of paper or missfeed". But the tray i originally selected is tray 1.

Size mismatch between your print request and the size specifed for the paper in the tray. these trays do not auto-read, you have to tell the copier what size is in the tray

Make absolutely certain the correct size is specified for the paper in your tray, otherwise your print driver may be locked on selecting from the bypass tray and not set to 'auto select'

Bizhub c200 giving message put paper in bypass tray

Check your default paper settings in your setup menu. Also, check the paper size is set correctly on you paper trays for the type of paper that is in them. Make sure that the documents that you are printing are set to proper paper size that is in your printer. All the issues, will cause this condition plus some. But those are the easiest, let me know if it continues. Good Luck

11x17 paper jams from drawer - will not feed from sheet bypass

Check to see if the actuator arm is stuck in the bypass tray, therefore not seeing the paper and be sure the side guides are up against the paper. If that doesn't work and you have 2 cassette cavaties put the 11 X 17 where the other tray is . Hope it works for you.

When trying to print, get error message to load paper into bypass tray. All printing preferences have the input tray as tray 1?

if all the other trays are empty

or the bypass is set as default

or the bypass has the correct tray size and no one else has it

then the bypass will be default...

H2 error when printing from pdf to A3 in multipurpose tray

H2 error code means that the paper size you are feeding into the machine does not match the paper size programmed into the machine. Minolta's are picky about these 2 size matching. So if you trying to print onto A3 then when you select the multipurpose tray it must read as A3.
Here is the info from the factory service manual:
H2 The length of the paper set does not
match that of the paper actually taken
up and fed in.
• Load paper of the correct size again
according to the set paper size.
• Turn OFF and ON the Power Switch.
• For copier tray: Slide out and in the
paper tray in which the size error has
occurred.
• For Manual Bypass Tray: Place paper
in the Manual Bypass Tray.
• For Multiple Bypass Tray: Unload
paper from the Multiple Bypass Tray,
then reload it back again.

Can I print onto 5-1/2 x 14" paper

minumum size for the bypass is 3.5x5.5 and max is 11x17
minimum, for the paper trays is 5.75x8.25 and the max is11.5x16.5
so it should run 5.5x14 in the bypass tray
1 load the paper in the bypass tray
2 in the basics screen touch paper
3 select the button for the bypass tray
4 touch change setting
5 select custom size and program the size

Cannot reduce size from 11x17 to letter

The NP6551 is an analogue copier, using only mirrors and lenses. It has no way of rotating the image. If you want to reduce a 11x17 to a 8.5x11 both peices of paper need to be fed in the same direction, ie short edge first. Change one of your trays to LTR-R ('R' for Reduction) or feed the LTR paper in thru the bypass in the long direction. If you use te bypass you must specify the paper size as LTR-R, you cannot use FREE.
