If this is only happening in games, it's a problem with the joystick assembly. It's pretty common on the PSP for this part to wear out and characters [or menu options in games] will start scrolling by themselves. Replacing the part will fix the PSP up. This is, unfortunately, a pretty common problem with some PS3 models. it's almost always a hardware issue where the lazer lens inside the PSP fails or is otherwise no longer able to read game discs.

The only real fix for most people is to send it in to Sony for replacement; but that's only good if it's still under warranty (they'll want a copy of the original receipt).

Otherwise, your only choices are to get a new PSP or only play games stored on the memory card.

replacement pack should fix that, but did the stick fell itself or ur psp fell? Also u can try to open psp and clean, i had similar problem just cleaned and it helped
