Dropped jvc camcorder GZ-MG630 in sea water. in for 2 seconds. what do I do?

JVC GZ-MG630 Everio 60GB Hard Drive Camcorder read the manual yet
say what damaged means, we can not see it blind.
no symptoms of evidence show or told nor what works and does not.
hopeless now.

Yes, if you go to the JVC site and under "support" you should find "downloads" in there you'll find your manual to download as a "pdf." file.

May you will need to relace the optical block assy or ccd base assy

This isn't a solution specific to your problem, but maybe similar enough to help. I've dropped both my cell phone and iPod in the water. My friend told me to fill a bowl with uncooked rice and submerge the cell phone in the rice to draw out the water - took about 2 days and all was working fine - same with the iPod, but it took longer (about a week.) You might want to gently clean the battery connections with a Q-tip if you're seeing residue. Good luck!
