u can remove the lock by fallowing settings.
1. press menu button and select channel and press enter.
2. select channel manager and press enter.
3. select channel lock then press enter.
4. select off and then press enter.

Tv turn now,pictures only flashes a few sec. than died,than have sound left only?Yes than ur tv have those 1 or 2 long board call the LCD inverter boards are dead.These 1 or 2 long LCD inverter boards job are to help the LCD picture screen panel to have a backlight to produce a picture.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy those long refurbishes 1 or 2 LCD inverter boards for the replacement.

ok, well... i hate to say it, but it sounds like your dvd drive is about to give up, and die.... if its a new one, return it under warranty. if its an older one..., You might want to consider buying a new one.

YOU LOST VERTICAL DEFLECTION THIS WILL REQUIRE PARTS REPLACEMENT

Since it is coming back after a union-like break, it is probably the inverter for the fluorescent backlight rather than the light itself; they can flicker and die but normally don't recover after a rest. The inverter may be a separate board in the unit and you should be able to recognize the right board due to its relationship to the backlight.
This kind of problem will not repair itself but decay further with time.
