I have citizen balck eagle c-652, do i need to replace the battery

You need to replace both batteries in side and sit it in the sun to charge the interior one there's two batteries

mcdevito75 here, Some quartz watches and I believe Citizen is on of which need the exact factory number battery installed / replaced. if you did use the exact battery number and the new battery is not working, remove the battery and carefully clean the battery contacts with a Q-tip and rubbibg alchohol do not soak the battery contacts just clean them. Also your new battery could be dead, who knows how long it was on the store shelf. Alaso wipe off any oil from your fingers on the new battery before you install it in the watch, make sure the battery is seated correctly in the watch, the back cover may also have to be installed back onto the watch to complete the battery circut for the watch to work. If all this fails you can try to contact Citizen online, Contact CitizenWatch.com and get their recommended battery size for your watch, OR, look for a small watch repair shop in your area. One Last thing, Your Citizen watches Quartz mechanism could also have gone bad, in this case you"ll need a new watch.

normal cases, just fix new capasitor/battery and wear few hours, then it starts working

If your watch is light powered, it does not have battery. However, there is a capacitor which needs replacement. New capacitor usually revokes light powered watches and makes them work as new. Rate me,plz.

You have to take it to your nearest Citizen dealer, as you won't be able to replace stem yourself. Note: You do not need to remove or to do anything with the stem for replacing battery.

After charging the Skyhawk/Black Eagle watch, you need to reset it.

Here's how to do it:
Turn the crown (knob) until it's in chronograph mode (CHR), then pull it out to TWO clicks. Push both buttons at the same time and the display should turn on. The push the crown back in to complete the reset.

If that does not work and you are 100% positive it should've charged...take it in for service. It could be a bad battery (rare).
