First you have to remove all backing plates...Wire feeds through the small hole running from battery area and attached to the volume/treble dials...then to the pickups..Everything is soldered to the switches....If you plan on removing them you will need a soldering gun and silver soldering wire...It takes a steady hand and good vision to do this....I recommend a magnifying glass and or glasses....

Wiring instructions dean edge bass guitar 4 pots & battery

To wire a Dean Edge bass guitar with four pots (potentiometers) and a battery, you will need to follow the wiring diagram for the specific model of your bass guitar. Here is a general overview of the wiring process:
  1. Start by connecting the ground wires to the pots and the battery. The ground wires should be connected to the ground terminal on each pot and the negative terminal on the battery.
  2. Next, connect the power wires to the pots and the battery. The power wires should be connected to the positive terminal on the battery and to the power terminal on each pot.
  3. Connect the pickup wires to the pots and the output jack. The pickup wires should be connected to the pickup terminals on the pots and to the input terminals on the output jack.
  4. Connect the control wires to the pots and the output jack. The control wires should be connected to the control terminals on the pots and to the output terminals on the output jack.
  5. Test the wiring to make sure everything is working properly. If there are any issues with the wiring, you may need to double-check your connections or consult the wiring diagram for your specific bass guitar model.
It is recommended that you follow the wiring diagram provided by Dean or consult a qualified technician if you are not comfortable wiring the bass guitar yourself. Improper wiring can damage the guitar and potentially pose a safety hazard.

How to set up and check the digitech qm1548 multimeter and tell me how to check a 12volt truck battery

put the black wire in the black hole , the red wire in the red hole
turn the knob( press the buttons ) to volts ad/dc adjust range to high voltage ( put the decimal point 3 places to the right on the screen
connect the black wire to the negative pole of the battery
put the red wire to the positive pole of the battery and read the dial /screen
the reading on a good battery will be 12 volts to 13.5 volts
now have some one start the engine
check the voltage while cranking-- should be no less than 10.5 volts ( anything less indicates a faulty battery)
once the engine is running increase rpms to around 2500 rpms
battery voltage should now read 14.5-14.8 volts
if it stays at 12 volts , the alternator / regulator is not working
if the running engine voltage is at 11 volts , the battery is supplying power to the electronics
Of course if you do not know how to read a multimeter or know how to follow the user instructions for the meter, what I have detailed here will not mean much , so take the vehicle to an accredited auto electrician and have a proper diagnosis done

Look, my three-way switch is messed up. I don't know how it happened, I was jamming one day and it just cut out. Now when I set the switch in the lowest setting, i get a very low volume clean

if you are using passive pick ups in the instrument. it will require a battery as a separate power source. it sounds as if that may have gone dead. you would get a response like your describing. all of a sudden things just sound weak. now the battery would be located where everything is wired up. usually in the back there's a access cover. just un screw that and pull it up. if you see a battery, replace it im sure that will take care of it. also you may want to unplug the guitar cable from the guitar input jack when not in use. this activates the the battery when plugged in. it'll save the life of the battery.- good luck!

We need to change battery

The battery should be located in the control cavity of the guitar. It is in the back of the bass. Usually 4 screws holding it on. Inside your 9v battery will be located. Good luck

Replacing battery in kurzweil mark 12

As per the manual it says it is located near the power switch. You will need(as per the manual instructions): a screwdriver(Phillips head), a knife, a pair of scissors, and a pair of front end wire cutters as, when shipped from the factory, the three AA batteries were taped or cable tied as a shipping precaution(to keep them from falling out). ***WARNING: MAKE 100% SURE YOU HAVE BACKED UP ALL OF YOUR SOUND PATCHES ON A FLOPPY DISK BEFORE BEGINNING THIS PROCEDURE!!! ONCE YOU START THE REPLACEMENT PROCESS, YOU HAVE ABOUT 30 SECONDS BEFORE THE BOARD LOSES ITS CHARGE AND YOUR SOUND PATCHES GET ERASED FROM THE ROM CHIP.***
Make sure you have all of the needed batteries and tools before beginning.

Hope this helps.

I put my battery inside my key board but it wont work and i dont have the wire for it but do u need the wire to make it work

Hello,

The battery needs to be charged before it will work in your keyboard. Maybe, the battery is out of charge that's why your keyboard is not working.

You need the wire to turn on the keyboard and at the same time to charge the battery. If the battery is already full, you can remove the wire and the keyboard will still work until the power in the battery is drained out.

I hope this helps.

I was jamming, getting a glorious sound as always with my carbon copy as a main feature of my sound, combined with chorus and such. I packed up my gear to go to a group new years eve jam. My buddy called...

DO NOT count on a "new" battery to be good! I always carry an inexpensive meter (about $3 from Harbor Freight) to test batteries. Try yet another battery...
A common failure however is that the wires to some of the battery clips break after having to fight with 9 volt battery clip removal that have wires... The ones without wires have a habit of not making contact at time...

9v battery wires came loose. peavey 5 string bass

The negative battery terminal will go to a black wire and that will be soldered to one of the volume control cases. That makes the remaining wire easy. The negative terminal pole on the battery is the larger round one.
