Eurovox 'Maestro Series' 10 stacker displaying 'E-99'

Have a Maestro Series' 10 stacker CD player fitted as standard to my 2002 Monaro that is displaying E-99 when I try to play CDs. Have tried disconnecting the battery and re-entering the PIN with no success.

Try these steps. but first make sure you have the radio pin number and the cd cassette has no discs in it and is placed into the stacker.
Remove the fuse to the radio and wait 30 seconds, then replace the fuse.
The radio will look for the pin number, enter the 4 digit number by using the numbers on the radio.
Then place a disc into the cd cassette, then select cd on the radio and you should now be listening to your music you have selected.

    Good luck
    Chucky.

E-99 with eurovox stackers is often caused by either faulty switches, or the spindle motor chuck has come loose. Try the above solution reset, if that doesn't work find a eurovox or sony repair agent and they should be able to sort it.

I have Eurovox "maestro" series 10 CD stacker. E-04 keeps coming up even though all CDs are clean

Hi,

Check that the CD is in the magazine the right way up and that the surface is clean and free of marks and scratches, if the problem persists, it needs servicing.

Eurovox radio/cd stacker in 1998 Holden Astra locked

Radio lock out codes are security related to discourage theft, so they are not published on the internet, if they were what would be the point?? any thief could get the code after stealing your radio. Contact the dealer for instructions and what info u need to get your cars unique radio code. How do I know this isn’t a stolen radio? The dealer will require the serial number off the radio and proof of ownership of the car it came from.

Code needed to activate head unit for eurovox 10 cd stacker

The pin number is usually in the vehicle manual. Visit the wreckers to see if the standard manual was in the car and just check that. other than that you might need to contact holden with the vin number of the car etc to get the unlock code. that is the vin number of the car it came out of. If you cant get that i am sure that they wont unlock it for you as it will be presumed stolen. If you cant get the code from holden, take the stereo back as its going to be an expensive paperweight
