The door latch must make positive contact with the under-counter latch lock. The machines position is critical when shutting the door. Make certain the tab on the counter is making proper contact, not too much forward or backward, or bent up or down too much. The other adjustments are the Tilt backward and adjustment of the levelers at the corners of the washer (lower right and left sides). A front tilt could cause water leaking, so be careful when adjusting up or down.

The latch won't stay latched on pride jet 3 ultra

If the latch on your Pride Jet 3 Ultra power wheelchair won't stay latched, there are a few potential causes and solutions you can try:
  1. Check for obstructions: Inspect the latch mechanism and the surrounding area for any obstructions or debris that may be preventing it from latching properly. Remove any obstacles and ensure that the latch can move freely.
  2. Adjust the latch position: Sometimes, the latch may need to be adjusted to ensure a proper fit. Check if there are any adjustable components on the latch mechanism and try repositioning them to achieve a secure latch.
  3. Tighten or replace the latch: If the latch is loose or worn out, it may not hold securely. Check if there are any screws or fasteners that can be tightened to secure the latch. If tightening doesn't solve the issue, you may need to replace the latch with a new one.
  4. Seek professional assistance: If the latch continues to have issues or you are unsure about making adjustments or replacements yourself, it's best to contact Pride Mobility or a certified technician for further assistance. They will have the expertise to diagnose the problem and provide the appropriate solution.

What parts do I need to fix my 2004 GMC Envoy XUV's tailgate door? It will not open. It opened once a month ago, at a thrift store. but not since. Window works just not the tailgate. Help! TY

The endgate uses an electrical latch system. The latch system contains 3 separate electrical latches that are located on the upper left corner, upper right corner, and lower left corner of the endgate. The latches latch when battery voltage is removed. The latches will unlatch, or release when battery voltage is applied. The latches work in conjunction with a dual pivoting hinge located on the lower right corner of the endgate to allow the endgate to swing open from the left to right for access and cargo loading, or to drop to extend cargo space.

Do you know what diagnostic trouble code's are ? An electronic control module controls the unlocking of the tail gate an when problems like not opening happen ,DTC'S set in the endgate module ,pointing to the problem . Need sophisticated diagnostic tool to check it .
DTC B3745
The endgate control module supplies voltage for the endgate latch relay coil control circuit to the endgate latch relay. This output is used to energize the endgate latch relay when an endgate swing latch or drop latch request has been made. If the endgate module detects an open or short to ground on the endgate latch relay coil control circuit when a swing latch or drop latch request is made, a DTC is set.
Remove the endgate latch relay.
Connect a test lamp between the endgate latch relay coil control circuit of the endgate latch relay connector and a good ground.
Install a scan tool.
Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
With a scan tool, command the endgate module to swing endgate.
Does the test lamp illuminate?
DTC B3967
The endgate module monitors the lower left endgate latch actuator and upper right endgate latch actuator circuits. When the endgate module detects an open or short to ground on the lower left endgate latch actuator and upper right endgate latch actuator circuits, a DTC is set.
You could try replacing the endgate latch relay . Do you know what a relay is ? Video's on youtube showing how they work an how to test . The only thing is , the relay is inside the endgate ,need to take trim panel off .Video's on youtube for that too , probably .

My Kitchenaid khms155lss-2 has a problem latching completely. Once finally latched the microwave would start and then stop during the cooking time because the door became unlatched. I have to stand by the...

Ok.Agreed, latch is not cracked or worn out.But check the grip of latch.Open the door. The hold the latch in your hand and see,if its loose or tight. It should be tight.Press the latch towards down and move it left/right slowly --- slowly. And inspect the latch. It will move, there will be a moment but the position of the latch in the door frame should be tight. If you feel that latch is got very loose, then the door frame needs to be disassembled and latch assembly has to be repositioned and fitted. In most of the cases this latch breaks/cracks and it needs replacement. But in your case, its different, you mentioned that if you keep your oven door pressed then latch remains closed..So if latch is broken/cracked it will not get closed properly. So as per that i think, you will have to check the opposite side of the door frame, where this latch gets into.On that side, there is a interlock type part.Which holds this latch. That part is operated by spring. If in-case that interlock type part or the spring, any of this is got loose then latch will get released after few minutes.--------------- But first as regular troubleshooting, you inspect the latch.Do you feel its loose or getting very easily moved, then open the door frame and check the latch.----------- For that you will required door disassembly diagram:--- Click the link, see part number 3 is door latch.-------- http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/partsdirect/showSubComp.pd?imageUrl=http://c.searspartsdirect.com/lis_png/PLDM/W0505176-00002.png -------------- If the latch is properly positioned and intact then ,you will need to disassemble the opposite side cabinet to check the internal part, which hold the latch. For that you will require complete disassembly:---Click this link for complete disassembly:-- http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/part-model/Kitchenaid-Parts/Microwave-Parts/Model-KHMS155LSS2/0593/0123370?pathTaken=&prst=0&shdMod=KHMS155LSS2 -------------- The door latch itself or other parts holding the door latch, none of the part is costly then $10.The cost of part is under $10.---------It just require you to figure out, either is cracked /broken part or just loose misaligned part.-------- This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

The tailgate latch, doesn,t latch

you have to make sure the strikers are lined up to the latch. The latches get dirt in them and dont move easily. You may have to remove the latches and clean them and grease them up make sure the action is working. There is a spring on the latch if it is broken you will have to replace the latch. Make sure as you before you shut the tailgate the the latches on the tailgate are open and not latched closed. You can put a screw driver in the latch and pull the handle and that should release the latch in the position ready to accept the striker when you close it Next make sure the plastic clip retainers are not broken on the handle

I had to pull open my door on my 08 Pontiac G6 and it is not latching when I shut it now. The actual mechanism is moving just not catching the latch.

Look at the door latch if the latch is in the lock position the stricker will not go into the latch to close the door, the latch should have a clear path all the way into the latch, if it don't get a screw driver put it in the latch hold the handle as to open the door and slide the hook in the latch out, that should reset the latch.Good luck.
