Uniden DECT 1560 not displaying the caller ID and does not ring
The last day my Uniden 1560 displayed a caller ID was five days ago. All of a sudden it stopped showing the caller ID info, AND it no longer rings. Every other phone in my house is working properly, but the Uniden is the one ringtone that I like (which no longer rings), and I use it more often than the others. Until now, anyway. I can still make and receive calls on it, but the caller ID and the ringer seem to have stopped working.
I cannot help with the ringing (unless you accidentally switch the volume down!) but the Caller ID is set by the Telco (eg Telstra). I know this as it happened to me. You will need to ring them and ask them why they have switched it off. They usually charge you for it. Hope this helps.I cannot help with the ringing (unless you accidentally switch the volume down!) but the Caller ID is set by the Telco (eg Telstra). I know this as it happened to me. I don't know what Telco is, unless you're referring to the telephone company? So you're saying that it's NOT a problem with the phone itself? If I'm reading you correctly, then I don't understand, because the caller id's on all my other phones are working just fine. Why would it be turned off just on one phone?I don't know what Telco is, unless you're referring to the telephone company? So you're saying that it's NOT a problem with the phone itself? Yes, a telco is a telephone company. Sounds like a fault with just the one phone. Sorry couldn't assist further. Good Luck.Yes, a telco is a telephone company. Sounds like a fault with just the one phone. Sorry couldn't assist further. Good Luck.

Hi Debra,
There are several reasons that this could happen:
1. Your telephone company stopped the service, even though you are paying for it... Ask your telephone company to verify your Caller ID service is current.
2. There may be a problem with your Caller ID service. Ask your telephone company to check to see if there are any problems.
3. Sometimes the caller ID is delayed, try letting incoming calls ring at least twice before answering.
The "charge" light staying on is very unusual, It could mean that the battery is failing, but if it is working properly, don't worry about it.
This phone has one mode to configurate the "number of the rings" you need to programer this "time" Enter to this option always search as inside "MENU" follow your user manual also.
