Here's some interesting tips on how to get the maximum out of your iPhone - features that are not usually mentioned in the users manual. Zoom in and out in Google Maps: Everyone is familiar with the 'pinch' with two fingers to zoom in or out in google maps. A problem with this is the rendering detail in maps depends on what level you've zoomed. You might have noticed with pinching to zoom in, that the map is sometimes blurred. A simple solution to this is to double tap to zoom in. Google maps zooms in to such a level where you get the best detail of the map. Wouldn't it be so good if there was a similar tap option to zoom out? Turns out there is one - Single tap using TWO fingers to zoom out. Once again, the app adjusts the zoom level to get the best map detail. I've found this pretty useful and quick when I'm looking for directions or searching for a location. Sorting your photo library by 'Videos' and 'Photos':My iPhone photo library has tons of photos and videos. It's a pain to locate a video amidst so many photos in the photo library. So instead of using photo library to view photos, I sometimes use the Camera app, and enter the photo library (bottom left with the last image preview) from there. On top you'll find these options - All, Photos, Videos. Tap on one of those, and bam! you have your library sorted by the type of file! Screen shot of your iPhone: A pretty common tip - press the home button and the screen-off button to save a screen shot of your iPhone to your photo library.
Your iPhone has the zoom feature enabled and it can be a nightmare to get it turned off sometimes. Okay so this is what you have to do press your home button and slide to unlock so you can see your Giant screen and with three fingers double tap on the screen it should make it go down to normal size, then go to settings general scroll down to the bottom to accessibility and turn off ZooM! Alternatively you can go and do this in iTunes when you have the phone plugged in and on the left-hand column of iTunes be clicked on the iPhone and on the info page scroll to the bottom and you will see the accessibility option you can go there and disable zoom there as well.
Please follow this steps to set back the font size or icons of your Iphone.
* Tap the "Settings" menu from the iPhone home screen.
* Tap "Accessibility."
*Tap the word "Off" next to "Zoom" to turn the Zoom feature on.
*Return to the iPhone home screen.
Tap the iPhone with three fingers twice in succession. The home screen icons will be magnified to 200 percent. To adjust the zoom level, touch the screen with three fingers then move them up to increase the zoom, and down to lower it. The next time you tap the screen twice with three fingers, the iPhone will automatically return to your custom zoom level.
