Wont turn on

Go to the retailer you bought it from and if you bought it less than two years ago you can get a new one free with the exchange of the old one only if you have the warranty

there are 2 fuses you obviously didnt insulate the bottom screen so it doesnt short out on the circuit board look at the one you took out and look at the one you put in difference is one has a backing insulation
did you blob them with solder (definatly not a good thing to do) if you did everything correctly and im wrong try this
the second thing is which every one does they never push the ribbon cable fully home (top and bottom screen) needs to seat all the way in really all the way if this helps give us a tick so to help others good luck

The ds lite or the pokemon diamon game might of been damaged before u got them

the only thing you can do is buy a new ds. you can try to sell that ds to another person who thinks they can fix it.

defective most likely return it for another one.

You might only have a loosen screen ribbon cable.

If not careful while taking out the top screen ribbon you can damage it causing blank screens and finally the DS wont work.

The solution to a broken top screen ribbon is to replace the whole screen in DS lite or buy the ribbon cable in the DS fat and replace.

If the broken top screen ribbon is caused by broken hinge then you should replace the shell also to avoid other broken screen.

It wont be your DS causing the problem its the cartridge, ive got an Action Replay and it works like a charm, your best taking it back where you bought it from and get a replacement

Make sure your ribbon cable is all the way in and that the clamp on the connector is down.

sounds like a wire has been cut on the ribbon cable . not an easy fix , could be a new top screen and soldering
