On a rzt 42. The pto clutch bolt loosens and clutch falls off with use of 10 minutes or less. How do I fix?

The PTO clutch has a bolt that goes through it and into the vertical shaft of the engine. MANY of the PTO clutches have a large spacing washer that goes on before the PTO clutch is slipped onto the shaft. If the washer was lost when the clutch was changed, the bolt might be bottoming out in the shaft rather than tightening on the threads like it should. I'd get a diagram for your model and make sure all parts are in place.

KP26M1XMR beater shaft falls off

The beater shaft on the 6 quart mixers is part of the planetary assembly. The planetary and center shaft are pressed together, and sometimes they will come apart. The only way to fix this is to replace the planetary or you can have the planetary machine pressed back together.

It is a lot cheaper and less expensive to just replace the planetary. Here is a link to the Planetary Assembly on our website. http://www.mendingshed.com/9708662.html

Kitchenaid mixing shaft falls out w/ use

If it is model 5KPM5 then there is a pin through the shaft inside the planetary that engages the pinion gear. There is a circlip above the gear clipped to the shaft that holds the gear into engagement with the pin. I've not seen one drop the shaft out in my life, the circlip would need to pop off & the gear would need to jump up and then the pin would need to slide out. All the bits would be there inside the planetary waiting for you to discover them.

Crash induced won;t shift to third or fourth

Check that your shift lever shaft is not bent. A hard fall on the shifter side can bend the shaft and ultimately break shift forks, etc.

Where are the clips located in a 2001 astro rear axle?

You mean the clips that holds the axle shafts in the axle housing? You need to take the cover off the rear axle, now theres a small bolt in the carrier housing that holds the large pin in, remove the small bolt and push the pin out, then push the axle shaft inwards and the clip ( it really looks like a small horseshoe) will fall out, if it doesnt fall out, you will need to remove it, then the axle shaft will pull out. To install its the same way, put the shaft all the way in, install the clip, and pull out to seat it. then install the large pin, but make sure you line up the hole for the bolt.

The spindle with the chuck attached keeps falling out of my drill press. I can push the spindle (arbor shaft) up into the machine, but it later falls down. How do I fix this?

get something like brake clean and spray both parts the shaft and internal socket and then wipe with a paper towel. Next put the shaft into the socket and "tap" into place with a block of wood on the drill chuck with the jaws retracted. You might have to "tap" a little hard if you know what I mean but this will seat the tapers and you should not have a problem for a while.

The driveshaft falls out of the pan, even with paddle attached

Hi,
The shaft is pressed into a bearing that is molded and stamped in the bottom of the pan. This bearing is sealed and allows the shaft and paddle to spin freely. The rest of the parts on the other end of the shaft interact with the motor on your machine. They do wear out and can not be repaired because the worn parts are not available individually.

Sorry to say there are no repairable parts, so it's time for a new bread pan. I don't know the brand of your machine so you can google or check ebay.

Shaft falls out on BB280 breadmaker

Unfortunately there are no official spare parts for the bread pan of the BB280 other than the pan and the paddle, I suggest checking with your local Breville service centre to see if they have a circlip that will suffice, or to check that the pan is intact.
