CDE-SXM145BT has great audio in TUNER mode, but is barely audible in CD and SiriusXM modes. I have tried every menu setting and cannot fix the problem.

Solved. Blue wire (remote antenna) was connected to blue wire on vehicle harness. This was switching the factory amp (which I didn't know I had) on in TUNER mode, but off in all others. Switching the blue wire to the blue wire with white stripe solved the problem. Thanks Alpine technical service dept!

Does not power on

Check the fuse in the fuse box of your car and if that doesn't help there is a fuse on the back of the alpine unit. And if this doesn't fix the problem then most likely you have a bad unit.

The volume is barely audible even with it turned all the way up. I have tried different audio cables. It occurs in different modes also, CD Tuner, etc.

Maybe you have it muted or a Tape Monitor engaged??? Never troubleshoot anything at high volume. If you can't hear it at medium it's effectively noth there. A flip of a misplaced switch would possibly blow your speakers.
