No matter what pot we use, it wont work

Most cookware found found in home today is aluminum or cast aluminum. These do not work on induction cook tops. Even older stainless steel Farberware doesn't work because it is not magnetic. Look for an induction compatible label or stamp on the cookware to be sure.
Induction cookware must be made of a magnetic-based material, such as cast iron or magnetic stainless steel. Fully clad cookware brands, such as All-Clad Stainless, Le Creuset Stainless Steel and Mauviel M'cooks stainless work on induction cooktops because they're magnetic.

What kind of cookware is recommended for glass top stoves

Glass ones work best, but any heavy metal will also work. Heavy gauge not heavy weight. The lighter metal tends to bend and warp after a lot of use. If the bottom of the pans are not absolutely flat, these stoves will not heat the pan very well, which is why the glass cookware is the best to use, since it will not warp.

If induction cooker does not heat the pot

Induction-compatible cookware contains contains iron or has a layer with magnetic properties. Cast iron, enamel cast iron and most types of stainless steel cookware are all induction compatible (But not all types; for instance, All-Clad's MC2 line, which is made of aluminum and stainless steel, is not induction compatible)

Can I use an all aluminum cookware pot to cook pork in the oven?

Yes you can. The correlation between aluminum cookware and alzheimer's disease has not been specifically defined and the oven is not too hot for the aluminum pan on anything under 400.

Never the less, you might consider phasing out your aluminum cookware as there are plenty of other types that are less worrysome.

Bon apetit!

Glass cooktop scratched

Unfortunately, these style cooktops are VERY fragile to scratching and cracking. The wrong kind of cookware can also mark them. Copper or aluminum pots and pans can discolor them. Do not use pyrex (glass) cookware on them either. Stainless is the best. NO CAST IRON either. Anyways, there's not much can be done without replacing the top itself.
