What type of MAC and Blue Tooth mouse are you using? You could try the following:
* Make sure you have fresh batteries in the mouse.
* Do you have another device you could connect the Blue Tooth mouse to to test?
You need to connect a wired usb mouse first and try pairing the bluetooth mouse again with your system by going to the control panel and opening your bluetooth device manager. Click add a device and press the connect button underneath your mouse. System should be able to detect your mouse. If that failed, try replacing the batteries with fresh ones.
Install the winxp driver under compatability mode win xp sp3 might do the trick, otherwise search the right driver. you can also use driverpack sollutions but be aware they want to install all kinds of software you do not need, unbox the things you do not need before hitting install.
before you install anything, find a place near you, im in the Netherlands so the links are dutch!
You can burn it to a dvd or just hit install online, again look and do not install all the software that comes with it, like opera mozilla etc etc
Good luck
If there is no light on the Bluetooth keyboard it means there is a problem with it.
If the Bluetooth keyboard is not responding try to do the following:
1. Change batteries 2. Go to control panel 3. Click Bluetooth Icon 4. Delete the Bluetooth Keyboard 5. Click on Add new wireless device 6. Press the pairing device on the keyboard 7. Bluetooth keyboard will be detected 8. Follow the onscreen instructions
Hope this helps, Tried it several times and it works perfectly
Uninstall the Bluetooth Adapter driver totally from the System first,
Then go to "scan for hardware changes",
This will bring up a prompt to install the new hardware found (Which is your Bluetooth Adapter).
After this, Press your ON/Off button on the mouse and ensure that it is On, then try to use it again.
It should connect like that.
(In case you dont know how to uninstall the Adapter, Right-Click on my computer Icon, Properties, Device Manager, then select the Adapter under bluetooth/network adapters, and right click on it, then select uninstall.)
1. Go to Start->Run and type in "services.msc" and click OK
2. Find "Bluetooth Support Service" in the list of services and double click to open the properties window
3. Click on the "Log On" tab and select "Local System Account" for "Log on as:"
4. Click Apply and OK
5. Right click on "Bluetooth Support Service" and select stop then right click on "Bluetooth Support Service" again and select start
6. You may need to reconnect your bluetooth devices; everything should be working now.
Press the small silver button on the back of the mouse. When you press this in, slide the top of the mouse backwards and you should see the battery compartment inside. Hope this helps!
