there are 3 ways of setting it up as an Access Point, Wireless Client, Wireless Repeater mode. Would be easier if you explain what you want to use it as?
Choose what you want to use it as, you can set it up plugged into the router or over the wireless , so just plug it into your router and follow the instructions in the manual, you will then be able to unplug it and it will automatically connect to the router over the wifi. manual can be found here ftp://ftp.dlinkla.com/pub/drivers/DAP-1150/DAP-1150_A1_Manual_1.10%28B%29.pdf
1- first distance between Dap-1360 from the router wifi Nilox should be max the signal length around 50 meter,
2- try to update the Dap-1360 software from the internet then test the network cable again and the electric cable..

Connect your computer to the router.
Assuming Windows 7, click the "Start" button.
Into the search-box, type 'CMD' and press ENTER.
Type 'IPCONFIG /ALL'.
Look for the IP-address of the "gateway" (or "DHCP-server").
Type that IP-address into your web-browser.
just make sure that you belong with in the same IP range.
default DAP-1360 IP is 192.168.0.50
username : admin
password :
change your PC IP address to 192.168.0.xxx (e.g. 192.168.0.2)
from there you may choose wizard or manual configuration.
you may change your DAP-1360 IP add according to your network settings in the office and you must change you PC IP address with in the same range.
Plug directly in the DAP-1522.
Set your PCs network settings under TCP/IP, alternate config:
IP Address: 192.168.0.10
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.0.50
