it is probably not a non-stick surface
having said that the cooking oil you use has a lot to do with sticking to the pan
If the instructions are correct you do not use spray oil, cooking oil or anything on a non-stick surface as It ultimately removes the non-stick quality of the teflon surface
If you must use some additive then rice oil is the best as it is supposed not to affect the surface of the pan and is better for you than cholesterol containing oils
I have the same problem with another Kitchenaid model. I've had better results at keeping the water drained by running two back to back water saver cycles than running a full pots and pans cycle.
You can either use a cooking spray like Pam on the griddle prior to heating it. Or if you're cooking steaks, rub a little olive oil on each side of the steak, before seasoning (kosher Salt & Fresh Ground Pepper) it. For meats, always allow them to come to room temperature before grilling and allow the grill to preheat until is extra hot. The hotter the grill/griddle, the less likely red meats will stick to it.
Hope this helped you and Happy Grilling!! Thanks for choosing FixYa.
Best wasy to keep waffles from sticking is to spray the maker with a non stick food spray like "PAM". The other way is to increase the amount of oil in the batter, but that can affect the finished look.
Go to epinions.com, type your product and find you are not alone. Besides, as there is no cure to baldness there is no such thing as a perennial non stick pan. All coatings invented eventually succumbs to the wear and tear produced by temperature changes, contact with food and related chemistry, detergents, scrapping, etc. Consider the possibility that some of that non stick material may be ingested unconsciously.
how easily dies the shifter move? if it feels as if there is no pressure, then possibly the cable is broken. have you had the fluid level checked? maybe there is a leak you are unaware of.
Without a type of Freezer, I take it it's a froze free type ? Check the drain for food clogging it or the drain pan and hose to it ( may have a hole in pan or hose. Wrap everything but be sure to clean the unit from food that lays at the bottom .
FIRST: REMOVE AND STORE FOOD.
