You can try channeling up or down to get to channel 99.Rca in the past has used this to get to the video input. If this does not work you can buy a universal remote. In most cases, after programming the universal remote the major functions such as channel select, volume control and input select will work.

try changing the channels until you reach 2 and go past it.

A universal remote in most cases can not switch this TV into the AV mode...you can but a orignal replacment remote for your TV At www.remotes.com and then you can use all the functions again!

does the dvd have a coax output for coax antenna input on the tv? you can use that untill you can get the video input selection straight with the tv and a remote that supports rca's extra functions such as menu , tv/av button
or
also if there is a( wake-up) on/off timer in the tv menu , then you can also set it to come on with the video input instead of a tv station,set it a few minutes after the time it is when you set it( then just turn off the tv set after the time is set and you have exited the menu, then it will come on with the video input instead of a tv station)
otherwise you will need that remote that supports the video input selection on your tv

The remote control has a "Game" button, which is how you select the external input. Since you don't have a remote you can select game mode via the front panel Menu button:

1) Press the MENU button so that the menu display appears on the TV screen.
2) Press the VOL(ume) ▲ button so that "PICTURE" is selected.
3) Select the feature you wish to adjust with the CH(annel) ▲ or ▼ button and adjust it with the VOL(ume) ▲ or ▼ button.

GAME MODE: Set to the most suitable position for TV
GAME. [+] : ON [ - ] : OFF

This will place your TV into Game mode and use the front panel video/audio jacks.

However, If you?ve connected another component to your TV(such as a VCR) using the Video/Audio input, you will want to be able to view the signal from the component. To do this, you will need to switch from the ? TV ? input to the ? Line1, Line2 ? Input, as follows: 1 With the TV on, press the MENU button twice, then ? Set-Up ? menu will appear. 2 Use the WCHVbuttons to select ? Input ?. 3 Press the CVOLB buttons to change from ? TV ? to ? Line1, Line 2 ?. 4 Wait 10 seconds, or press the MENU button to return to normal TV viewing.
