there is NOT a cheat to unlock everything. Not that i know of anyway. most things are unlocked as you beat the game. There are few places where you can exploit it to max out kratos.... http://www.ign.com/cheats/games/god-of-war-ps2-661321
Try getting a different copy of the game. I have had a few that would not work on my system, then I traded them in for a different copy of the same game and it worked perfectly. Not sure why it happens but it does. Hope this helps
